What core facilities will be available at the research centre?
The Kingdom University of Health Sciences Research Institute will feature advanced core facilities, including PCR and next-generation sequencing platforms to support genomic and molecular research; a tissue culture facility for cellular and regenerative medicine studies; and advanced microscopy systems for high-resolution imaging of cells and tissues. In Phase 2, a flow cytometry and cell sorting facility will be established to enable detailed immunophenotyping and functional cellular analysis. These core technologies will serve as foundational pillars driving innovation across our research areas, including genomics and precision medicine, stem cell and advanced cellular therapy, and cell biology.
