The KU inaugural MD program will introduce a world-class education curriculum co-designed and co-developed with UCLMS to educate and inspire a future generation of outstanding medical professionals and leaders. The new medical school will directly benefit the livelihood of Jordanians and play a pivotal role in improving the quality of healthcare across Jordan and the surrounding region, while also tackling the health problems of our world.

The expansive, long-term partnership combines the world-renowned research, expertise and teaching approach from UCL - consistently ranked as one of the world's top 10 universities, with leading educators and scientists from Jordan and the region, to support in shaping the Kingdom University Medical school. This will include the development of curriculums, structures, strategies and practices, as well as exchanges of faculty, helping to define the ambition, vision and culture of the new institution.

The partnership seeks to elevate KU into a globally renowned health sciences institution. With the evolving complexities of global health, there is a real need for our doctors and medical practitioners to rise to an ever higher standard and help solve the health problems that our world is facing. KU seeks to graduate a new wave of physician scientists - future medical leaders, who not only possess the highest standards of practitioner skills, but also embody the desire, empathy and leadership qualities to become true innovators in their field.

The vision is for KU to build a thriving institution that is accessible, ethical and engaged, creating a step change in medical education in Jordan and the region and a home for world-class health sciences.
